Popfax is set up so you can get the basic service for $5.59 USD which includes 10 pages sending and unlimited receiving. Which is great if you don’t send many faxes. You can purchase additional “credits” which are used for sending in $7, $14 or $28 dollar increments. Popfax has made it easy to add credits to your account as well. They accept major credit cards, bank transfers and paypal.

Popfax is a company based out of France so they have mostly western European numbers. They do offer some local US numbers as well but no toll free. Support is through email only. No indication of whether it was 24/7.
