Out of all the services I’ve seen, MetroFax has the slickest and most stylish website out of the bunch and the service itself is just as good.  MetroFax has numbers in about 200 different area codes, they also offer toll free numbers for the US and Canada.

MetroFax. Faxing Made Simple!

MetroFax is currently running 24/7 email support, phone is 5 am to 6:30 pm PST M-F at the time of writting but I believe 24/7 by phone will be implemented soon. They’ve also got an easy to use web interface for you to send/reveive faxes, add new email address’s.
